Poland Releases 2 & 10 Zloty Commemorative
The Polish Mint commemorates the 95th anniversary of the creation of The First Cadre Company with these coins on August 3, 2009. The First Cadre Company was a military formation set up by Józef Piłsudski (according to Wikipedia) on August 3, 1914. The 2 Zloty "goldish" coin is actually made from Nordic Gold, an alloy made with copper, aluminum, zinc, and tin. The 10 Zloty is a silver coin that is made up of .925 ounces of silver. POLAND is an eastern European nation where the capital is Warsaw. Information and coin images below are thanks to the Polish Mint.
