Captain America Coin Issued by Fiji

Captain America coin (2 Dollars, 2016) produced by Fiji

Regardless of the faraway distance from the United States, the Republic of FIJI issued a colorized 2 Dollar silver coin in 2016. Not only does its brilliant coloration resemble the iconic shield of Captain America, this reeded-edge coin is not perfectly flat like most circular coins — the disc is raised (convexed) in the center, like a turned-over dish! The concave side features the Fijian coat of arms, weight (2 troy ounces), and purity (99.9% fine silver) on a reflective proof surface. Only 7,500 coins have been minted to commemorate Captain America's 75th anniversary of existence appearing in Marvel comic books and later in video games, TV shows, movies, and more. More information about the Oceanic country can be found on GeoFact of the Day Blog's Fiji post.
