Argentina 2 and 50 Pesos
While the ARGENTINA 2 Pesos and 50 Pesos banknotes I have are extremely wrinkly, they are a wonderful contribution from a family friend. The undated 2 Pesos note was printed anywhere from 1997 to 2002 and features Bartholomé Mitre (Argentina's president, 1861-68). This 50 Pesos note is also undated, being created anywhere from 1999 to 2003. It features Domingo Faustino Sarmiento, a presidential successor to Mitre (1868-74) credited for helping end the war with Paraguay and furthered educational opportunities for illiterate Argentinians.

Argentina also borders the South Atlantic Ocean. Argentina's currency is the Argentinean Peso, and its ISO 4217 currency code is ARS.
