Money & Geography Blog's New Name

Greetings! You may have noticed something different on this blog. Established in the year 2009 as a blog connecting my favorite hobby of collecting numismatics with my favorite subject of geography, Money & Geography will now be known as Wonderful World Money! I believe this new name allows my blog’s content to remain consistent; you won’t see anything too drastic. For example, I will keep the resourceful Odd-Shaped Coins page and any content, images, etc. posted during the Money & Geography Blog “reign.” However, since I already have a blog (GeoFact of the Day) dedicated solely to geography, the Wonderful World Money name signifies that this blog is mostly about numismatics.

Despite the many changes and adjustments that 2020 forced people to deal with, Wonderful World Money will still be fittingly focused on currency from around the world; therefore, geography is still a relevant component. Will you miss the “Money & Geography Blog,” which will essentially change in name only? Regardless, you can see archived views of the Money & Geography Blog at the archive.org website for a little bit of nostalgia! What sort of posts would you love to see in the future?
