Money and Geography Blog's 1993 Kenya 20 Shillings Banknote (↗) post is updated. My original post stated that the banknote illustrates an Olympic runner next to the Moi International Sports Complex. A wonderful commenter asked about who that athlete is. There doesn't seem to be evidence that the man was illustrated based on a specific real-life athlete, but there are some similarities between the illustration and Kenyan gold medalists. Please let me know your thoughts, especially if you would want the Money and Geography Blog (me) to post about a particular coin or banknote!
