    Brazil 50 Centavos Coin

    Brazil 50 Centavos coin
As you probably knew already, BRAZIL is the largest country on the continent of South America. Located in South Central Brazil, the capital is Brasília, which is not as highly populated as São Paulo (population over 11 million) or Rio de Janeiro (over 6 million).
In the image above, the 50 Centavos coin from the year 1989 is the only coin from Brazil in my numismatic collection. The metallic composition is stainless steel. One whole side of the coin symbolizes a woman weaving and making a web. This design represents the successful textile industry occurring across Brazil.
